Primary Facilitator: Jacky Hood,
author of Happy About Working to Stay Young: Expanded Careers for Boomers
and Seniors.
Jacky is currently Director of the College Open Textbooks
program. She enjoys career success as a manager of large programs in
education, service/support, and new product development. Jacky held management
positions at Hewlett-Packard, Slam Dunk Networks, and other organizations. She
has provided presentations for dozens of organizations and published four
books. Jacky received her BSEE with distinction from the University of Nebraska and her Masters in Systems Engineering from Carleton University. She developed and taught an intensive course based on The Portable MBA from the Darden School of Management at the University of Virginia.

Pat Furagganan: Adding Creativity to your Career
Pat is an experienced project professional who specializes in technical communication, customer relationship management, business partnering, leadership, facilitating meetings and workshops, and database management. Applied Materials and other Silicon Valley firms have benefited from Pat's expertise.
Pat has facilitated sessions for IEEE and PM-PM-SIG. She serves as secretary of the IEEE Technology and Management Council and was president of PM-PM-SIG.
Using origami and other approaches, Pat will demonstrate how lateral thinking spurs creativity in careers and in life.

Jane holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and a degree in Electrical Engineering from Tufts University. Jane has extensive experience in product development, program management,
services, operations, and vendor management. Proficient in New Product
Introduction (NPI) and Service Operations with solid understanding of
business and product life cycles, from idea through development,
verification, validation, release, support, and end-of-service life
(EOSL)]. Demonstrated successes in companies of various industries and
sizes.
